"All Holy Scriptures agree that love is a higher law, although more often than not this has been tarnished to mean religion is love. But when a devout Catholic priest can’t make sense of his inability to hear the voice of God, despite his religious actions, he walks away from the dogma that brought him unanswered prayers. In retrospect, a well-intended friendship with a prostitute became the cause his crisis of faith, yet only in his relationship to her does he begin to understand the heart of God and find his answers."

Synopsis

"Despite his devotion, a Catholic priest cannot make sense of his

inability to find the answers to the false accusations against him.
So, pressed by the weight of controversy, Father Hal Chenega walks
away from the dogma that left him empty-handed; leading him back to
the very thing that began his disgrace - his friendship with a
prostitute. Yet, it is in that incongruous relationship that he finds
the missing reason he didn't know he was looking for.
